CALL FOR ARTISTS

The Aquila Summer Concert Series is announcing a call for visual artists for a multidisciplinary event in their 2015 season.

The Aquila Summer Concert Series is a new music festival located in Greeley, Colorado. Now in its 4th year, this music festival strives to bring new music to audiences in fascinating and accessible ways. This summer concert series features new music from living composers all around the country. With concerts taking placing at multiple local businesses around Greeley, the Aquila Summer Concert Series strives to show what the community has to offer. From new music to uniquely local small businesses, the Aquila Summer Concert Series presents Greeley in a way that captivates those from out of town and surprises those who call Greeley their home.

Event:

On the evening of Friday, June 5th Aquila will be presenting a musical art museum on the streets of downtown Greeley in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk and Friday Fest. Over the course of an hour, artists will  display works and, ideally, work on a new piece. 1-3 musicians will be paired with each artist playing complementary music. Spectators will get to walk around as if in an art museum for the ears and eyes.

Friday, June 5th, 7-8pm (Time subject to change)
